3.  If necessary, attach the riser card to the riser card bracket using screws. 

4.  Insert the expansion card into a slot on the riser card while aligning the expansion 

card backplate with the open slot in the rear of the chassis. 

5.  Insert the riser card into the motherboard expansion slot while aligning the riser 

card bracket with the rear of the chassis. Secure the bracket with screws. 

6.  Connect the GPU power cables to the power connector.

Internal Expansion Card

The pre-installed expansion card that holds your LAN ports also offers another 

internal low profile card slot for Supermicro SAS only. 

1. 

Remove the cover and find the slot in the center of the chassis near the power 

supply modules.
