USB 2.0 Controller
Select Enabled to activate the onboard USB2.0 controller. The options are
En-
abled
and Disabled.
Legacy USB Support
Select Enabled to use Legacy USB devices. If this item is set to Auto, Legacy USB
support will be automatically enabled if a legacy USB device is installed on the
motherboard, and vise versa. The settings are Disabled, Enabled and
Auto
.
IDE/Floppy Confi guration
When this submenu is selected, the AMI BIOS automatically detects the presence
of the IDE devices and displays the following items:
Floppy A
This feature allows the user to select the type of fl oppy drive connected to the sys-
tem as specifi ed. The options are Disabled, 360KB 5 1/4", 1.2MB 5 1/4", 720KB 3
1/2", 1.44MB 3 1/2" and 2.88MB 3 1/2". The default setting for Floppy A is 1.44MB
3 1/2", and for Floppy B is
Disabled.
SATA#1 Confi guration
If Compatible is selected, it sets SATA#1 to legacy compatibility mode, while se-
lecting Enhanced sets SATA#1 to native SATA mode. The options are Disabled,
Compatible and
Enhanced
.
Confi gure SATA#1 as
This feature allows the user to select the drive type for SATA#1. The options are
IDE,
RAID
and AHCI. (When the option-RAID is selected, the item-ICH RAID
Code Base will appear.)
ICH RAID Code Base (This feature is available when the option-RAID is
selected)
Select Intel to enable Intel's SATA RAID fi rmware to confi gure Intel's SATA RAID
settings. Select Adaptec to enable Adaptec's SATA RAID fi rmware to confi gure
Adaptec's SATA RAID settings. The options are
Intel
and Adaptec.
SATA#2 Confi guration (This feature is available when the option-IDE is
selected)
Selecting Enhanced will set SATA#2 to native SATA mode. The options are
Disabled, and
Enhanced
