Chapter 5: Chassis Setup and Maintenance
5-9 Power Supply
This power supply is auto-switching capable. This enables it to automatically sense
and operate at a 100v to 240v input voltage. An amber light is illuminated on the
power supply when the power is off. An illuminated green light indicates that the
power supply is operating.
Changing the Power Supply
1. If necessary, power-down the system as described in section 5-2. Unplug the
power cord from the power supply module.
2. Remove the four screws securing the power supply to the chassis and set
these aside for future use.
3. Removed the failed power module from the power bay.
4. Gently push the new power supply module into the power bay.
5. Secure the power module into the chassis using the four screws which were
previously set aside.
6. Plug the power cord into the power module and power-up the system.
