1. Questions: How do I fl ash the fi rmware of an IPMI card such as a SIM1U-
3B(+) card?
Answer:
• 1. Log on to the web interface page of the IPMI card by typing the IP address
of the card.
• 2. Click on the maintenance button.
• 3. Browse to choose the correct fi le to fl ash the fi rmware.
• 4. Click on the "Update Firmware" button and proceed with fi rmware fl ashing.
2. Questions: How do I setup the IP address and MAC address for the AOC-
SIM1U-3B(+)/AOC-SIM1U-3D Add-On card?
Answer:
• 1. Boot the system into DOS.
• 2. Run the utility-IPNMAC from DOS.
• 3. Follow the prompts to setup the IP Address and MAC address for the AOC-
SIM1U-3B(+)/AOC-SIM1U-3D.
