Introduction

1.1 Overview

This chapter provides a brief outline of the functions and features of the 5049A-TR
SuperWorkstation. The 5049A-TR is designed for applications such as data science, video
rendering, and machine learning. The 5049A-TR is based on the X11SPA-T motherboard and
the SC747BTS-R2K20BP chassis and can operate as a workstation or as a rackmounted
system.
In addition to the motherboard and chassis, several important parts that are included with
