Installing a Passive CPU Heatsink
1. Apply thermal grease to the heatsink or the CPU.
2. Align the four holes of the heatsink with the four mounting holes on the motherboard.
3. With a Phillips screwdriver, gradually tighten screws #1, #2, then #3, #4 to ensure even
pressure. The order of the screws is shown below. To avoid damaging the processor or
socket, do not use a force greater than 12 lbf-in when tighthening the screw.

Examine all corners to ensure the heatsink is firmly attached to the motherboard.
