6.7 Boot Settings
Use this tab page to configure
Boot Settings.
Setup Prompt Timeout
Use this feature to indicate the length of time (the number of seconds) for the BIOS to wait
before rebooting the system when the setup activation key is pressed. Enter the value of
65535 (0xFFFF) for the BIOS to wait indefinitely. The default setting is
1
.
Boot Mode Select
Use this feature to select the type of device that the system is going to boot from. The options
are Legacy, UEFI, and
Dual.
Fixed Boot Order Priorities
This feature prioritizes the order of bootable devices that the system boots from. Press
<Enter> on each entry from top to bottom to select devices.
*If the feature "Boot Mode Select" above is set to Legacy, UEFI, or Dual, the following
settings will be available for configuration:
