Installing an Expansion Card
The SC504 chassis includes a PCI slot for an optional full-height, half-length expansion
card. A riser card is required in order to connect the expansion card to the motherboard. For

Installing the Expansion Card
1. Power down the server, disconnect the power cord from the power supply and remove
the cover. Locate the expansion card clip on the back of the chassis
2. Remove the screws holding the expansion card clip and the PCI slot cover which covers
the PCI slot opening in the back of the chassis.
3. Remove the expansion card clip and the PCI slot cover from the chassis.
