6.3 Advanced Setup Configurations
Use the arrow keys to select the Advanced tab and press <Enter> to access the submenu
items.
Caution
: Take caution when changing the Advanced settings. An incorrect value, a very high
DRAM frequency, or an incorrect DRAM timing setting may make the system unstable. If this
occurs, revert to the manufacture default settings.
Boot Configuration
Quiet Boot
Use this feature to select the screen between displaying POST messages or the OEM logo
at bootup. Select Disabled to display the POST messages. Select Enabled to display the
OEM logo instead of the normal POST messages. The options are
Enabled
and Disabled.
Note:
POST message is always displayed regardless of the item setting.
CSM (Compatibility Support Module) Support
Select Enabled to enable CSM booting support which will allow a UEFI (Unified Expansible
Firmware Interface)-compatible device to boot from a system that uses a legacy BIOS ROM.
The options are
Enabled
and Disabled.
