3.2 Accessing the System

You can access some chassis components, such as fans, by removing the cover.

Removing the Chassis Cover

1. Remove the screw on each side of the chassis.

2. Depress the release buttons and slide the cover back and off.

Caution

: Except for short periods of time, do not operate the server without the cover in

place. It provides proper airflow to prevent overheating.
