Jumper JP 3 allows the user to select the
Manufacture Mode. Short the pins of this
jumper to bypass the SPI fl ash security
and allow the manufacturer to fl ash the
BIOS on the production line. See the
table on the right for jumper settings.

Jumper JP5 allows the user to select the
ME Firmware Recovery Mode for BIOS
or fi rmware recovery. When in this mode,
only essential system functionality will be
supported. This mode cannot be used for
online BIOS upgrades. See the table on
the right for jumper settings.
