2.2 Installing the Rails
There are a variety of rack units on the market, which may require a slightly different assembly
procedure. Do not use a two-post "telco" type rack.
This rail set fits a rack between 27.75"
and 38" deep.
The following is a basic guideline for installing the system into a rack with the rack mounting
hardware provided. You should also refer to the installation instructions that came with the
specific rack you are using.
Installing the Rails onto the Rack
The front and rear ends of each rail have a locking latch. This latch is used to attach the
rails to the rack.
To mount the rails onto the rack, first extend them by releasing the inner rails from the outer
rails.
1. Using a screwdriver, remove the screws holding the inner rail in place inside the outer
rail.
