Station MAC Address
This item displays the Station MAC address for this computer. Mac addresses are 6 two-
digit hexadecimal numbers.
Gateway IP Address
This item displays the Gateway IP address for this computer. This should be in decimal
and in dotted quad form (i.e., 192.168.10.253).
VLAN
This feature is configurable if the Update IPMI LAN Configuration feature is set to Yes.
Use this feature to enable or disable the IPMI VLAN function. The options are
Disable
and Enable.
IPMI Function Support
Use this feature to enable IPMI support. The options are Disabled and
Enabled
. When
disabled, the system powers on quicker by removing BIOS support for extended IPMI
features. The Disable option is for applications that require faster power on time wthout
using Supermicro Update Manager (SUM) or extended IPMI features. The BMC network
configuration in the BIOS setup is also invalid when IPMI Function Support is disabled.
The general BMC function and motherboard health monitor such as fan control are still
functioning even when this option is disabled.
