The SC822S-400LP/SC822i-400LP chassis can accommodate all PCI expansion
slots on the PDSM4/PDSME being populated with low-profi le cards. To install an
add-on card, begin by removing the PCI slot shield for the slot you wish to populate.
Fully seat the card into the card slot on the motherboard, pushing down with your
thumbs evenly on both sides of the card. Finish by using a screw to secure the top
of the card shield to the backpanel of the chassis. The PCI slot shields protect the
motherboard and its components from EMI and aid in proper ventilation, so make
sure there is always a shield covering each unused PCI-E/PCI-X/PCI slot.
To Install: Insert module vertically and press down until it snaps into place. Pay attention to the bottom
notches.
To Remove: Use your thumbs to gently push each release tab outward to free the DIMM from the
slot.
