MAINTENANCE AND CARE
Caution:
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
Regularly clean the appliance after each use. If you have not used the
appliance for a longer period of time, you should clean the appliance and
all removable accessories with clear water before use.
• Do not immerse the motor unit, mains cable and mains plug in water or other
liquids for cleaning. Clean them with a dry cloth.
• In case of heavy staining, carefully clean the exterior with a damp cloth. Dry
thoroughly afterwards.
• Clean the removable accessories by hand in the sink; dry afterwards.
• Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, steel brushes, abrasives or other hard
objects that could scratch the surface.
• Never use solvents, petrol or oil-based cleaning agents as these could damage
the housing.
• Plastic might discolour from the squeezed fruits; this is normal and hygienically
harmless.
DISPOSAL INSTRUCTIONS
Electric appliances used in private households
• If you do not wish to use the electric appliance anymore,
return it to a public collection point offering the free disposal of
electric appliances.
• Do not dispose of electric appliances as residual waste (see
symbol).
Further disposal instructions
• Return the waste electric appliance in a way that does not
affect the future recycling and reuse of the appliance. Remove
batteries beforehand and avoid destroying any containers
containing liquid.
• Waste electric appliances can contain hazardous substances
which, in the case of improper use / damage to the appliance,
could cause health problems / water and soil contamination
when the appliance is recycled in the future.
