• 

For 10 minutes to 30 minutes, one-minute increments can be set.

• 

From 30 minutes, 5-minute increments up to a maximum time of 60 

minutes can be set.  

• 

To start, press the button 

Start/Quick Start (5f).

• 

The device starts and the set time counts down.

ENDING THE MICROWAVE FUNCTION

• 

When the set preparation time expires, the device shuts off. END appears 

in the 

display (5a) and a signal tone sounds. Press the Stop/Cancel (5g) 

button in the 

display (5a) and the time is shown.

• 

To interrupt preparation of foods in the microwave, press the 

Stop/Cancel 

(5g) button 

once

. The device shuts off temporarily. The time at which the 

programme was interrupted blinks in the display.

• 

To stop preparation before the time has expired and to cancel the 

programme, press the

 Stop /Cancel (5g) button 

twice

. The hour will then 

be shown in the 

display (5a).

GRILL FUNCTION

GRILL FUNCTION BUTTON

Only the 

heating element (8) in the upper cooking chamber is supplied with 

power. This provides a golden brown crust but it is possible in cases of thicker 

cooked foods for the surface to be burnt and to have a completely uncooked 

centre. This setting is ideal for cooking sausage, chicken legs, pork chops, meat 

pieces, sandwiches, and much more. 

• 

Press the 

Grill (5i) button. In the display (5a) the number 10 and the grill 

symbol  

 appear.

SETTING THE TIME

• 

Set the time.

• 

Set the preparation time in grill mode as described under “SETTING THE 

TIME” in the “MICROWAVE FUNCTION” section. 

• 

Press the 

Start/Quick Start (5f) button to start.

ENDING THE GRILL FUNCTION

• 

End the grill mode as described in “ENDING THE MICROWAVE FUNCTION” 

in the “MICROWAVE FUNCTION” section.

COMBINATION MICROWAVE OVEN AND GRILL

In this case, the magnetron (microwave) and the 

heating element (8) are 

supplied alternately with power. Depending on the characteristic of the food, 

this combination of grill and microwave can achieve excellent cooking results.
