Installing the glass door
1.
Visually inspect the gasket on the backside of the glass door.
NOTE:
The gasket surface must be clean, free of irregularities, and seated firmly. Ensure it is properly located.
Make sure the bead is not rolled into the channel at the top of the door, but remains flat against the top of the
glass.
2.
Slide door onto firebox using tabs at top of door. Position door centered on firebox. Latch the two (2) latches
onto door.
NOTE:
Ensure the glass door is centered—with even spacing on each side.
3.
Let the bottom of the glass door swing gently in towards the fireplace ensuring that the gasket seats evenly as
the door draws shut. Securely fasten the two (2) latches beneath the firebox floor to the door V-flange.
4.
Install the barrier.
5.
Close the control compartment door.
Removing the glass door

Open the control compartment door in traditional models

NOTE:
If necessary, remove the door and place it in a safe location for later reinstallation.
2.
Remove the barrier. Place the barrier in a safe location for later reinstallation.
3.
Detach the two (2) door latches on top of the door.
4.
Pull door out to drop down and clear barrier brackets at the top and remove door.
5.
Carefully grip the door at the top and bottom, and remove it from the fireplace. Place the door in a safe location
for later reinstallation.
