•
dismount the guard assembly
•
dismount the cover:
- remove the screws from the machine support, the handle, the back supports and forks and put them
aside.
•
place the plug on top of the motor. (Fig.38)
•
remove the cover by pulling it over the motor (Fig.39)

•
mount back the handle as this will make it easier to turn over the head
•
remove the back up plate holders
for the floating backup plate holders - pull them off
for the non-floating plate holders – first, loosen and then remove the bolts
•
turn the head and let it rest on the motor (Fig.40)
remove the retaining rings, the cap rings and the glide seals (Fig.41,42,43)
