When SEL is Full
This feature allows the user to determine what the BIOS should do when the sys-
tem event log is full. Select Erase Immediately to erase all events in the log when
the system event log is full. The options are
Do Nothing
and Erase Immediately.
Note
: After making changes on a setting, be sure to reboot the system for
the changes to take effect.
Log EFI Status Codes
Select EFI (Extensible Firmware Interface) Status Codes to log EFI status codes.
Select Error Codes to log EFI error codes. Select Progress Code to log the EFI
progress code. Select both to log both EFI error codes and progress codes. The
options are Disabled, Both,
Error code
and Progress code.
Note

BMC Network Configuration
The following items will be displayed:
LAN Channel 1
Configuration Address Source
Use this item to select the IP address source for this computer. If Static is selected,
you will need to know the IP address of this computer and enter it to the system
manually in the field. If DHCP is selected, AMI BIOS will search for a DHCP (Dy
-
namic Host Configuration Protocol) server attached to the network and request the
next available IP address for this computer. The options are
DHCP
Unspecified,
and Static.
Current Configuration Address Source
This item displays the current configuration address source.
Station IP Address
This item displays the Station IP address for this computer. This should be in decimal
and in dotted quad form (i.e., 192.168.10.253).
Subnet Mask
This item displays the sub-network that this computer belongs to. The value of each
three-digit number is separated by dots and it should not exceed 255.
Station MAC Address
This item displays the Station MAC address for this computer. Mac addresses are
6 two-digit hexadecimal numbers.
