This product works with a butane 190 gr gas 
cartridge  BTP C200 SUPER-EGO. It can be 

dangerous to use different kind of gas cartridge.

Use this appliance in sufficiently ventilated 

rooms. N.B. This lamp is not suitable to be used 

hanged on inflammable surfaces.

IMPORTANT WARNING FOR THE USE AND 

MAINTENANCE OF THE LAMP

• When first lighting the lamp, or if the 

appliance has been shaken, there is a possibility 

that gas comes out: this fact must not create 

panic because its length is very short.

• Do not modify the appliance:

- The manufacturer does not accept any 

responsability for problems arising due to.

- Incorrect usage of the appliance.

- Carelessness during usage of the appliance.

• Alterations and modifications of the appliance.

• Fitment of wrong components ( gas cartridge, 

washer, gas mantle).

• The appliance works with 190 gr. butane gas 

cartridge only.

• Before inserting the gas cartridge, read care- 

fully the instructions pinted on the gas cartridge.

• Always use this appliance outside. Removing 

and the fitting of the gas cartridge should be 

done outside.

• The butane gas is dangerous and treat it carefully.

• Ensure the appliance is kept out of reach of children.

• Do not use the appliance if the washer is in 

bad conditions.

• Do not use the appliance if there is any gas 

leaks, if it is damaged or it is not working correctly.

• In the case of gas leaks, place the appliance 

outside away from flames and other inflamma- 

ble sources or materials. Find the gas leak outside, 

use soapy water and never a naked flame.

• The support surface of the appliance must be 

horizontal.

• The appliance must not be used near 

inflammable materials.

• Ensure the knob of the gas valve is fully 

closed before inserting the gas cartridge or 

replacing the gas cartridge.

CLEANING OF THE APPLIANCE

Before storing the appliance ensure the gas 

valve is fully closed and the appliance is 

cleaned carefully. This cleaning is particulary 

recommended if the appliance is not to be used 

for a long period.

INSERTION OF THE GAS CARTRIDGE

• Close carefully the brass gas valve of the 

appliance.

• Ensure that the pin washer is in perfect 

condictions.

• Ensure the gas cartridge to be replaced is com- 

pletely empty before inserting a new one. Never 

change a cartridge unless the appliance is shut off.

• Twist off the bottom of the cartridge holder. 

Insert the gas cartridge and twist onto the 

bottom of the cartridge holder.

LIGHTING OF THE LAMP

• Remove the packing from the glass cylinder.

• Remove the handle and the glass cylinder.

• Verify that the gas mantle is inserted in the 

right position, in case of absence of the mantle 

insert it in the cylindrical mantle holder and 

be sure that the two ends of the mantle are 

located in the two spline of the mantle holder.

• Light a match and put it near the mantle, open 

slowly the gas valve until the gas ignites. If the 

appliance is provided with piezo ignition, press the 

black button after the openning of the gas valve.

• Re assemble the glass cylinder and the handle.

• To regulate the intensity of the light, slightly 

open or close the knob of the gas valve.

SHUTDOWN OF THE LAMP

• To shutdown the lamp, the control knob of the 

gas valve must be fully closed.
