the two automatic fasteners (A & B) at the rear (see fig. 4), pulling the two fasteners towards the inside
of the helmet carefully (X). When the rear of the casing has been released detach the frame attached
to the casing itself from the integrated polystyrene frame (see fig.  5) pulling carefully in direction (Y) until
the three constraint points have been fully released (C, D & E).

Assembly -

Position the casing inside the shell, carefully aligning the casing edges with those of the

polystyrene shell. When it is positioned, exert light pressure on the frame fasteners (integrated casing
frame and embedded polystyrene frame), taking care to fit the three attachment points together (C, D
& E) until they are well-fastened.
Then position the two automatic fasteners on the casing at the rear so they fit together with those on
the polystyrene, and exert light pressure until they are well-fastened (heard with a click).
After fastening check the shell is assembled correctly inside the helmet (polystyrene-padded).
Before using the helmet verify that the internal casing is positioned correctly and fixed to the shell.
The wrong positioning and/or ineffective fastening may jeopardize the efficiency of the retention system:
if this happens do not use the helmet.

VISOR

The visor must be cleaned and controlled periodically. If the visor is dirty and/or has bad scratches on
the surface there could be unusual light reflections or deviations, which may jeopardize safety.
Immediately replace the visor if there are such problems.

Operation

- see figure 5

The visor can be operated using the special extensions on the lower edge, for both opening and closing.
Avoid using other areas in order to prevent accidental damage (scores or scratches) or dirtying the field
of vision.
The JET 70’s is equipped with a concealed sun visor which slides into the gap between the external shell
and the polystyrene.
Its attachment and rotation mechanisms are embedded directly in the polystyrene using a process which
has been patented by SUOMY.
There is no intermediate locking point between the fully closed and fully open visor positions.
