7.4 How to use the pedal switch

1) Check out whether the parameter (function no.: 60) related to the general sewing is set to ‘2’.

If not, correct it to ‘2’.

(Refer to ‘Change of the parameter related to the general sewing’ of the guidebook)

2) Pedal switch for the three pedals are provided; the right pedal

is used to operate the right upper feed plate,

the medium pedal

②

to operate the left upper feed plate, and the left pedal

③

to start sewing.

3) How to use (basic type)

ⓐ

Press the medium pedal

②

to decrease the left upper feed plate and fix the position of sewing material.

ⓑ

When the position of sewing material is fixed, press the right pedal

①

to decrease the right upper feed plate.

Fix sewing material firmly.

(When a user wants to change the position of sewing material, press the medium pedal or the right pedal
again to the full. Then the applicable upper feed plate is increased to the initial position.)

ⓒ

When all the upper feed plates are positioned down and press the left pedal

③

, the machine starts sewing.

This product does not support the two-step stroke function.
