6.7 Control of the parts related to thread release
6.7.1) Setting of the position of the thread release
notch
Move the right side of long hole of the thread release
notch

close to the circumference of the screw

the thread release notch. Then fasten the screw.

6.7.2) Setting of the thread release stopper position
1) Remove the thread release return spring.
2) Loosen the screw for the thread release stopper to control the distance between the thread trimming driving
link and the thread release lever pin at 0.3mm.
3) Push the thread release stopper to the right side to narrow the distance between the thread trimming driving
link and the thread release lever pin. Push it to the left side to widen the clearance at the bottom.
4) Attach the thread release return spring

Caution
To prevent safety accident, make sure to use tools when removing or attaching the thread
release return spring.
Caution
When the position setting is not proper, the remained threads get smaller or inconsistent.
When the machine starts sewing, a thread may be taken out from the needle.
