4) Thread Take-up Spring Tension Adjustment 

(1) Operating range of thread take-up spring  

As shown in figure 36, if you loosen the screw

and turn the thread take-up spring stopper

②

clockwise, the operating

range of thread take-up spring would decrease. If you turn the thread take-up spring stopper

②

counterclockwise, the

operating range of thread take-up spring would increase. The standard operating range is 5~10mm.  

(2) Thread take-up spring tension adjustment  

As shown in figure 37, if you loosen the shaft screw

of thread tension control and turn it clockwise with the drive on the

thread tension control shaft groove, the tension of thread take-up spring would strengthen. If you turn it counterclockwise,
the tension would weaken. The standard tension of the thread take-up spring is 50~80g.

5) Operation of thread adjusting device

The main and supplementary thread adjusting devices
