Procedure 9 - Push Handles
A range of push handles can be supplied on this wheelchair for use by an attendant and operated as per the following
procedures.
9.1: Adjusting Height adjustable push handles
Release the over centre lever and position at the desired
height and then tighten the lever to secure. Repeat on the
other side to get uniform height between both handles.
9.2: Screw in push handles
Screw in push handles can be removed by unscrewing them
from the back rest. To install, screw them in until tight by hand.
9.3: Operating flip down push handles
Press the button underneath the handle and push the
handle down at the same time, repeat on other side. Pull up
the handle until it clicks into position to return to original
position.
WARNING:
DO NOT attempt to lift the wheelchair by any removable
(detachable) parts i.e. Height adjustable push handles,
Fold-down push handles and Screw-in push handles
