IX. PREMIUM RETAILER SERVICE & ADJUSTMENT
F. SWING-IN/SWING-OUT FOOTRESTS
IMPORTANT NOTE: These two adjustments might take several tries to get it just right, but the extra time is
a great investment in terms of comfort and support for the rider.
1. Lower leg length adjustment
a. Remove the footrest from the chair before adjustment
b. Using a 5mm Hex key, loosen the screw (A) that holds the footrest extension arm, and
adjust to the appropriate length for the rider to fit comfortably.
c. Retighten the screw
d. Repeat these steps on the other footrest.
2. Footplate angle adjustment
a. Remove the footrest, from the chair before adjustment.
b. Using the 5mm Hex key, loosen the screw (B) that holds the footplate to the extension
arm. You are now free to adjust the angle.
c. Adjust the footplate to the appropriate angle.
d. Retighten the screw
e. Repeat these steps on the other footplate
G. CASTER AXLE ANGLE ADJUSTMENT
NOTE:
Use a torque setting of 75 in./lbs. when adjusting caster axle angle.
1. Squaring your caster assembly
a. Using a 5mm Hex key, remove the dust cover (C), revealing the two attaching screws.(D)
b. Using the 5mm hex key, loosen two screws(D) just enough so that the caster assembly can
be slightly rotated.
b. Use a large right triangle (E) on a flat surface and the front surface of the caster bearing
housing (F). This will align the caster stem rotational axis perpendicular to the flat surface.

When the alignment is good, retighten the two screws (D), and replace the dust cover.
d. Repeat the process for the other side. making sure that both sides are exactly the same.
H. WHEEL LOCK ADJUSTMENT
NOTE:
Use a torque setting of 115 in.-lbs. when setting up wheel locks.
1. Adjustment
a. Loosen the screws (G)on the bottom of each clamp. Do not attempt to remove the
screw.
b. Slide assembly toward rear wheel and tighten the screw.
c. Check that the wheel lock arm embeds about 1/8” into the tire to prevent wheel move-
ment, when in locked position.
c. It may take a few tries to get the wheel lock in the right spot.
d. Repeat the adjustment on the other side, and tighten the screws.
