M. ELEVATING LEGREST (OPTIONAL)
1. Installation
To install or remove the elevating legrest (ELR) you will use the same basic instructions for
swing-away hangers and footrests.
2. Adjustment
a. To raise legrest, lift to desired position. Legrest will automatically lock in place.
b. To lower, while seated in chair, press release lever forward and lower legrest to desired
position. Legrest will automatically lock in place.
N. BACKREST
Breezy Elegance wheelchairs are shipped with an 8º bend in the backrest
O. STANDARD OR HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE PUSH HANDLE
Your Breezy chair comes standard with push handles. Gold and Platinum models have height
adjustable push handles, which can add up to 4” of height adjustment.
1. Adjustment
a. To raise or lower the push handles, loosen the height adjustment lever (A) about 1/2 turn
and raise or lower the push handles(B) to the desired position.
b. Be sure to tighten the adjustment lever when you find the best adjustment.
c. Repeat these steps for the other push handle.
P. CUSHION CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Cleaning your cushion cover
a.
Remove the outer cover from the foam base and zip closed.
b
Machine wash in warm water and drip or tumble dry on low heat.
c.
We recommend that you DO NOT iron the cover
Cleaning your foam base
a.
Remove the outer cover from the foam base.
b
DO NOT use soap, wipe lightly with a damp cloth.
c.
DO NOT submerge the foam in water,
d.
Dry off the foam with a clean cloth, and let the foam air dry fully before reassembly.
Q. UNFOLD OR FOLD YOUR WHEELCHAIR
NOTE:
For your convienence when storing or transporting your chair, you should remove the quick-
release wheels and footrest hangers before you fold the chair, and re-mount them before you
unfold chair.

ossible pinch point. DO NOT Fold or unfold your chair if it does not have a seat sling. Always
use the flat of your palms during unfolding, and push down on the seat rails without wrapping
your fingers around the seat rail.
1. Unfolding your Chair:
a.
Stand to one side of the chair.
b.
Tilt the chair toward you far enough to take the weight off the opposite wheel.
c.
Push down on the seat rail closest to you until chair opens fully.
d.
Make sure seat rail tubes snap into frame saddles, by using the palms of your hand to push down on
both seat rail tubes equally.
2. Folding your Chair:
a.
Make sure footrests are out of the way before you fold the chair.
(Swing-away, flip up, or remove the footrests.)
b.
Remove the cushion, and it is suggested that you remove the rear wheels before transport or storage.
c.
Grasp center of seat sling and lift it up until chair folds.
