LIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS

Place the barbecue on a

fl

 at surface, far from in

fl

ammable objects such as wooden fences or over-

hanging tree branches. Do not use the barbecue in enclosed areas! Once lit, do not move the barbecue
or leave it unattended. Keep the barbecue out of the reach of children and animals. Bear in mind that
hot cooking fat could drip out of the barbecue. The barbecue gets very hot during use. Use tongs and
gloves to handle the cover and other parts. Make sure that the device has cooled down completely
before putting it away.

ATTENTION: the cover must be open when lighting the burner!

Depending on the model, the burner is lit as follows:
- Open the control valve on the gas cylinder, press down the knob on the barbecue control panel and
turn it in an anticlockwise direction until reaching a central position, then press the ignition button sev-
eral times, so that it goes click. Or
- Open the control valve on the gas cylinder, press down the knob on the left of the barbecue control
panel and turn it in an anticlockwise direction until you hear a click. After lighting the burner, you can
also light the other burners in order, by pressing down and turning the knob to the central position.
Warning: if the burner does not light, close the knob by turning it in a clockwise direction, then close the
gas cylinder valve. Wait

fi

ve minutes before trying to light the burner again.

PREHEATING

We recommend heating the barbecue for 2 minutes at minimum and then for 2 minutes at maximum.
In models where it is possible to heat containers, the bottom of the pan must not be greater than the
dimensions of the support grill and the

fl

 ame must not over

fl

 ow from the bottom.

ENERGY SAVING ADVICE

Switch off the grill as soon as cooking is complete.
Do not preheat the barbecue for longer than instructed

WARNINGS AND SAFETY NOTICE

1.

Follow the assembly instructions provided in this manual. You may have problems during

use if you fail to do so.
2.

or the elderly.
3.

Should a gas leak occur, close the cylinder valve, extinguish any naked

fl

 ames, open the

cover and carry out the gas leak test again. If you are unable to resolve the problem, contact your gas
cylinder retailer.
4.

Parts sealed by the manufacturer must not be altered by the user

5.

Do not move the barbecue while it is in use.

6.
