5. Push the DIMM into the connector until the ejector tabs lock the DIMM in
place.
If the DIMM does not easily seat into the connector, verify that the orientation of
the DIMM is correct. Never apply excessive force.
6. Return the server module to operation.

Clear the Fault and Verify the
Functionality of the Replacement
DIMM
This procedure describes how to clear a memory fault and how to verify the
functionality of the replacement DIMM.
Ensure that the following conditions are met:
■
The server module is in Standby mode (installed in a powered modular system,
but the server module’s host is not started).

You have connectivity to the SP.
