SunVTS

Sun Validation and Test Suite is a diagnostic tool designed to stress test Sun
hardware. Within this environment, a user can run individual tests designed to
validate Sun supported piece of hardware. It also allows programmers to
develop their own tests and run them on SunVTS interface.

SYSIO

Is a bridge chip between UPA and the SBus.It also acts as the IO hub providing
features such as the IOMMU and streaming buffers to speed up sequential IO
access.

TOD

An acronym for Time of Day. This is a special timekeeping chip that keeps
track of date and time.

Wrist strap

A device that provides grounding for static electricity between your body and
the system unit chassis. Electric current and voltage do not pass through the
wrist strap.
