12. Maintenance Procedures
12.1 Replacing a Pressure Switch
•
When removing any pressure switch (High Pressure Switch [3.3.7],
Low Pressure Switch [3.3.8] or Fan Pressure Switch [3.3.9]) use
two spanners to avoid cracking the weld on the T joint.
•
Use a copper gasket to guarantee a seal.
Place the gasket inside the switch connection
with a drop of oil or grease to keep it in
position while screwing the switch onto the
valve.
12.2 Replacing the Drain Valve
•
Loosen the 3 piece union.
•
Unscrew the electrical connector.
•
Remove the fixing nut.
•
Remove the old coil and install the new one.
•
Replace the fixing nut.
•
Reattach the electrical connector.
•
Tighten the 3 piece union.
12.3 Cleaning the Condensate Strainer
The internal strainer of the drain valve should be cleaned at
least every four to six months.
•
Unscrew the cap at the bottom side of the drain valve.
•
Remove the strainer.
•
Clean the strainer with compressed air.
•
Replace the strainer.
•
Tighten the cap firmly, but do not over-tighten.
