Attaching Ladders & Safety Cages

Mounting Ladder to Front of Dryer
Start by referring to applicable ladder attachment drawing. See Pages 52-54.
Attach ladder to front of dryer as shown in Details A through D using ladder brackets T355151 and
applicable braces.
Detail A shows brace TM11118 attachment to vertical flange seam on mixed flow panel. Other end of
brace attaches to an outer hole of brace TM11117. Attach ladder brackets T355151 to inner set of holes
on brace TM11117.
Detail B shows brace TM11116 attachment to vertical flange of perforated panel on cooling section.
Other end of brace attaches to an outer hole of brace TM11115. Attach ladder brackets T355151 to inner
set of holes on brace TM11115.
Detail C shows attachment of brace TM11117 to end plate of mixing column and attachment of ladder
brackets T355151 to inner sets of holes on brace TM11117.
Detail D shows attachment of brace TM11115 to end plate of cooling section and attachment of ladder
brackets T355151 to inner set of holes on brace TM11115.
Space braces TM11117 and TM11115 equidistantly on dryer. Drawing shows 20' ladder with braces
spaced about 7' apart.
