ATTACHING LADDERS & SAFETY CAGES
After studying applicable ladder layout, splice ladder sections together end-to-end using splices (T25545)
and hardware provided.
Preassemble cage sections using D-rings, uprights and 3/8” hardware provided. Note that lowest section
of cage on each ladder run will have a 2’ or 4’ flared section.
Safety Cage Assembly
Connect flared uprights (V07212) to flared D-ring (B5086) as shown below for 2’ flared cage sections.
Use top hole of flared D-ring. Standard 48” uprights (V07204) are used for 4’ flared cage sections and
connect similarly to flared D-rings.
For standard cage sections, connect standard uprights (V07204) to standard D-rings (B5085) as shown
below, ensuring that ends of uprights overlap.
