Cleaning
The Power-PRO™ TL cot is designed to be power washable. The unit may show some signs of oxidation or discoloration
from continuous washing, however, no degradation of the cot’s performance characteristics or functionality will occur
due to power washing as long as the proper procedures are followed.
Thoroughly clean the cot once a month. Clean Velcro® AFTER EACH USE. Saturate Velcro® with disinfectant and
allow disinfectant to evaporate. (Appropriate disinfectant for nylon Velcro® should be determined by the service.)
WASHING PROCEDURE
• Always remove the battery! Never wash the cot with the battery installed.
• Follow the cleaning solution manufacturer’s dilution recommendations exactly.
• The preferred method Stryker Medical recommends for power washing the cot is with the standard hospital
surgical cart washer or hand held wand unit.
