1. Remove the foot support pivot assembly (see
Foot support pivot assembly removal and replacement
2. Insert the extension tube through the slide opening of the pivot assembly.
3. Using a 3/16” hex wrench, install the set screws into the bosses on the pivot.
4. Using a 3/16” hex wrench, alternately turn each set screw clockwise until the extension tube doesn’t slide.
5. Turn the assembly on end with the pivot assembly on top.
6. Using a 3/16” hex wrench, alternately turn each set screw counterclockwise until the pivot assembly slides down the
extension tube without any force applied.
7. Verify proper operation before you return the product to service.

2. Using a 3/16” hex wrench, turn each set screw clockwise until the extension tube is centered on the pivot assembly and
does not slide.
3. Turn the assembly on end with the pivot assembly on top.
4. Using a 3/16” hex wrench, alternately turn each set screw counterclockwise until the pivot assembly slides down the
extension tube without any force applied.
5. Verify proper operation before you return the product to service.
