“Cut length” defines when the cutting process is finished. When the
cut length is achieved, the cut-off wheel will stop.


Use the Arrow buttons

to select “Cut length”.



Press ENTER

to display the popup box.
Use the Arrow buttons

to change the setting. Press
and hold if a large range change is necessary.

Note: There are two types of settings here:
Auto (use as standard method) and
Fixed length (use when problems occur).
Auto stops the cutting process when the piece has been cut through.
Can be selected by selecting the value above or below the possible
cut length.
Fixed Length stops the cutting process when the cutting table has
travelled the specified distance. This method is used for cutting
hollow pipes and work pieces with irregular hardness or cross-
sections.

Push Enter to display the popup box and use the Arrow
buttons

to change the setting.

When the specified cut length setting is achieved, the
cutting table returns to its start position.

Auto stop is not available when a Clamping Tool
with rotation or oscillation is used.
Fixed Length
Important Note
Auto uses the change in resistance (or loading) of the cut-off wheel motor to
determine when the specimen is cut through.
When cutting hollow tubes or irregular materials where the resistance may
vary, it is recommended to use Fixed Length.
