Region
Select the region or country you live in. This will determine about eg. time
zone, character sets and the use of LCN.
GMT Usage
The current time obtained from the broadcast will be shown here, if set to

you may adapt the time and date to whatever
you like. If, in rare cases, a broadcaster should omit to send a signal for
Daylight saving time, you can adapt the time by +1 hour, if

7.7 System
Setup some system own features for maintenance, network and protection.
System Information
This submenu shows receiver specific information such as hardware and
software version. Please have the
System Information
screen on hand when
you call our hotline. The person who answers your call might ask for the
information given in this screen.
Factory Setting
Reset your receiver to the default factory settings. Sometimes useful if the
unit suddenly behaves in an unexpected manner, e.g. after a power failure.

. Note: This option will delete all your channels, Favourite lists and settings.
The receiver will reboot and start with the initial

menu.
Timer List
See the booked timers list and edit if needed, use the
BLUE

RED

buttons to add, delete and edit an entry manually.
Timer List
can be quickly accessed (shortcut) by pressing
BLUE
in normal viewing mode.
OSD Setting
Adapt the On Screen Display (OSD) to your liking.
OSD Timeout
Sets the time in seconds for how long the program banner will be shown.
OSD Transparency
Sets the level of transparency compared to the running video content.
Switch Mode
Options are:
Black Screen
and
Video Freeze
. Sets the image when zapping
between channels. Have a black screen or keep the last video frame until the
next channel opens.
USB Update
App All
This feature allows you to update the receiver software via the USB port.
When a new software is available for your receiver, it can be downloaded
from our website. Place the software file (unzipped) in the root directory of
your USB storage device (HDD, memory stick etc.) and connect the device
to the USB port of the receiver. First a message box will appear that a USB
device is found. Then go to the
System
menu and select the
USB Update
option. At
Upgrade Mode
select
App All
and then select the correct file in the
list. Select
Start
and press
OK
to start update. When ready, the unit will reboot
automatically.
