- Be careful not to burn other people or animals when handling the hot soldering tip.
- Do not touch the joint.
- If there is a burn, cool the affected area intensively and consider treatment by a doctor, depending on the
situation severity.
- Never carry the soldering gun with the operating switch pressed or with the hot soldering attachment hot.
Allow it to cool before carrying.
- Place the soldering gun with the hot adapter on its side and ensure that the hot tip does not touch anything.
Never place the gun so that the hot tip is touching something.
- Always disconnect the soldering gun from the power supply when you are finished. Never leave the gun
connected to a power source unattended. Do not leave the hot-tip solder gun aside.
- Be careful not to damage the insulation of the power cord itself. Keep the cable away from the soldering
point. If the power cord is damaged, stop the gun immediately, disconnect the power cord from the power
source, and have the gun repaired by an authorized service center.
- When working with the soldering gun, ensure that people around you are aware of it so that it is not
possible to trip over the power cord and cause burns. Keep the cable in a way to minimize the risk of tripping.
- Do not use the soldering gun in an environment with a fire and explosion hazard.
- Ensure that water does not enter the soldering gun and protect it from moisture.
- Never immerse the soldering tip by immersing it in water.
- Let the soldering gun cool down by itself.
PURPOSE
- This appliance can be used by children 8 years of age and older, with the condition they are supervised or
have been instructed on the safe use of the appliance and understand the potential hazards. Cleaning and
maintenance by the user must not be carried out by children unless they are more than 8 years old and
under supervision. Keep the appliance and its power cord out of reach of children under 8 years.
- The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental abilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless the person responsible for their safety gives
them supervision or has instructed them in the use of the appliance. Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the appliance.
- Check the power cord for damage. If it is damaged, have it replaced by an authorized service center to
avoid danger.
- Before commissioning the solder gun, make sure that the voltage indicated on the solder gun nameplate
corresponds to the mains voltage.
1.
Connect the soldering gun to a power source by plugging the plug into a power outlet.
2.
Hold the soldering gun by the handle and place the tip on the soldering point.
3.
Press and hold the switch. The indicator will light up.
4.
The soldering tip is heated to 230
° C in 6 to 8 seconds.
5.
When you are finished, release the power-off switch.
- The hold-down time determines the temperature of the soldering tip. Releasing the switch causes the tip
temperature to drop, then pressing it causes it to increase very quickly. Never hold the switch for more than
48 seconds to obtain an optimal stable tip temperature. Maintaining a constant temperature extends the
life of the device.
NOTE:
The first time the soldering tip is heated, it should be tinned immediately, otherwise its surface will
be degraded by oxidation, causing poor adhesion of the tin solder.
CAUTION:
Never hold the switch for longer than indicated in this manual. Doing so may cause the soldering
tip to overheat and be damaged. damage to the soldering gun and transformer.
