down through the available numbers for each octet using the
up and down arrows. Follow the steps below to configure a
static IP address on the Streambox unit.
Refreshing Network Settings “RECONNECT”
The network settings may need to be refreshed when the
unit is configured differently or when resolving issues with
DHCP. This is also recommended anytime the IP
configuration for the unit changes. To refresh the Encoder’s
network settings, use the following procedure.
1.
From the Encoder menu select
NETWORK
, press
“enter”.
2.
Select
NET ADAPTERS
, press “enter”.
3.
Select
RECONNECT
, press “enter”.
4.
The unit’s network settings are refreshed and the any
changes that were made will be reflected.
Viewing IP Configuration
Whether using DHCP or a static IP address configuration it is
sometimes necessary to view the IP address currently
configured on a unit’s network interface. Use the following
steps to view the IP address from the front panel.
1.
Verify the front panel control is in its top menu view by
pressing
“ESC”
until it shows the main statistics view.
2.
From the main Encoder menu use the “down” arrow to
select NETWORK and press
“ENTER”
.
3.
Select NET ADAPTERS, press
“ENTER”
.
4.
Select the network adapter you would like to view, (Intel
Pro….rt) and press
“ENTER”
