Preface

Purpose

This guide provides an overview of the U918 PCI (peripheral component interconnect)
card. It also describes how to install or replace the card in Stratus ftServer T Series
systems with the Stratus ft Linux® operating system.

Audience

This guide is intended for Stratus customers who are installing or maintaining a U918
T1/E1 PCI card in a Stratus ftServer T Series system.

Revision Information

This manual has been updated for the SINAP/SS7 14.2 release. It includes new CAC
information and a fix for a documentation bug.
