Troubleshooting
Device will not bleed:
Take the spray gun to a safe location before servicing.
If the spray gun fails to bleed, the intake valve may be
blocked by paint residue.
1. Lock the trigger lock and move the ventilation/pressure
relief valve to the up position to relieve the pressure.
2. Remove the material container and the suction pipe.
3. Push the intake valve, e.g., with a pencil or a thin rod
to check if it moves up and down freely.
4. If the intake valve does not move freely, remove the
intake valve as described on page 143. If the intake valve
moves freely, fit the suction hose without a screen; turn
the spray gun upside down, and slowly pour rinsing mate-
rial into the suction pipe until the hose is full.
5. Keep the spray gun on its head; release the trigger lock
and actuate the spray gun quickly until material exits via
the bypass opening.
6. Fit the screen on the suction pipe and screw the mate-
rial container back onto the spray gun.
7. Actuate the gun for 10 seconds; then release the trig-
ger and move the ventilation/pressure relief valve down to
spraying position.
