Never use a damaged appliance or power cable (2.). Never leave the
appliance unattended during operation. And take particular care in
the presence of children (3.)

Never operate the appliance on or near moisture-sensitive objects
such as furniture (4.).

Place the appliance on a surface insensitive to moisture (5.). Only
use it in dry living rooms up to 30 m² (or 75 m³) in size. Never move
the appliance during operation.

Never cover the appliance with a cloth or similar during operation
(6.). Only use original components.

The appliance must be plugged into a grounded power socket
(230 V / 50 Hz) with a grounded cable (7.).

Disconnect the appliance with DRY hands by pulling out the power
plug. Do NOT pull the cable.

Never immerse the appliance in water to clean it (8.). When you fill it,
make sure no water enters the slot at the top. This appliance is not
proof against spray water. If the appliance falls over, immediately
pull out the power plug. Let the appliance dry out for at least 10
hours before plugging it in again.

Make sure your power supply is the same as indicated on the name-
plate.

Arrange the appliance so that nobody can trip over the power cable
and any extension cable. Never pull or clamp the power cable over or
between corners or sharp edges.

Keep the power cable and the appliance away from hot surfaces and
objects and well away from open flames (9.).

Always pull out the power plug after use or before cleaning.

The plastics used in this appliance age with years of use and can
become brittle as a result. This renders the appliance no longer safe
to use. After 7 years at the latest, or if damaged, you must therefore
have it checked by your dealer.

The appliance must not be operated by people (including children)
who are physically, sensorially or mentally handicapped or lack the
necessary experience or knowledge, unless they are supervised or
appropriately instructed by a person responsible for their safety.
