Travelling down slopes
Always travel down slopes forwards. The load
faces uphill.
Without a load, we recommend that you go
down a slope forwards.
DANGER
Danger of death and/or risk of serious damage to
equipment
Never park the truck on a slope. Never make a U-
turn or take shortcuts on a slope.
On a slope, the operator must drive more slowly.
WARNING
Risk of serious injury and/or serious damage to
equipment
Driving on slopes steeper than 10% is prohibited due
to braking capacity and stability. The load being
transported could tip over.
Starting on a slope
Proceed as follows:
–
Move the drive switch in the required direc-
tion.
–
Release the drive switch to apply the park-
ing brake.
