2. As is carefulness should be taken when frying, especially when children are
near by.
3. Taking into account the food type select the temperature for frying. As a
general guide, food that has been pre-cooked in some way need a higher
temperature and less cooking time than those raw food.
VI. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Make sure the deep fryer is switched off both the thermostat and timer knobs
before cleaning and maintenance.
• Allow the oil or fat to cool down.
Caution:
Do not move the deep fry and the contents until it is completely
cool down.
• If the deep fryer is not used regularly. It is recommended to store the oil or
liquid fat after cooling in a container preferably in the fridge or some other
cool place. Open the lid and remove the bastet. Filter the oil or fat through
a fine sieve into the container to remove food particles from the oil or fat.
• If the deep fryer contains solid fat, allow the fat to solidify in the deep fryer
and store the fat in the deep fat fryer. Please refer to chapter of frying with
solid fat for details.
• Empty the fryer and wash the inner part of oil tank into the dishwasher.
Warning:
Never immerse the heating element in water and do not clean these parts
under running water.
1. Clean regularly the outer part of the fryer with damp clothe and dry it with a
soft and clean towel.
Note:
Do not use abrasive detergents.
2. Clean the basket and the handle in warm soapy water. Dry thoroughly before
reusing.
3. Dry completely before storage.
4. Store the appliance in a dry, well-ventilated position which is out of reach of
children, when the deep fryer is not in use.
5. Store in its original package when not using for a long time to avoid soiling.
