Wall outlet
Mains voltage and the operating voltage
of the power supply unit must be the
same.
N
Select the mains plug adapter that
suits the wall outlet.
N
Slide the adapter into the power
supply unit's slot (1) – the adapter
must snap into position.
To remove the adapter:
N
Depress the latch (2) and pull out
the adapter.
N
Connect cord (1) to analyzer’
socket and the power supply unit's
receptacle (2) – note coding of
connections.
N
Tighten down the connections.
N
Insert the power supply unit in a wall
outlet.

Connect cord (1) to MDG 1 plug (B)
and AAD 1 socket (2) and tighten
down the connections
Self test
A self test is performed after the
analyzer is connected to the power
supply.
During this process the LED (1) on the
analyzer glows green, then yellow, then
red and then continuously green – end of
self test.
LED (1) glows continuously red: internal
malfunction – replace the analyzer.
LED (1) flashes green. Supply voltage
too low. Ensure correct supply voltage
and restart analyzer. The analyzer must
be reintroduced to SDS.
LED (2) flashes white: Analyzer ready
for operation – no connection to
computer – check connection.
