Replace the pick-up body
Removal

Remove the shroud with rewind starter
.
Clean the connecting element (

) and
surrounding area.

Carefully pry out the connecting element (

) with
the hoses and pick-up body.

Replace the pick-up body.
Installation
Do not confuse the hose for the fuel return (

) and
suction hose (
3
):
The suction hose (
3
) has a larger inner diameter and
is connected to the hose for the pick-up body (
4
).

Always use a new seal (

).
.
Coat the entire seal with STIHL press fluid.

The removal tab on the connecting element
(
arrow
) must lie in the recess of the fuel tank.

Press in the connecting element until it locks; it
must audibly snap in.
