Remove the clips (3).
N
Insert the nose sprocket (5) in the bar nose (1) from
above. Hold the plastic discs (4) together during this
process.

Push the nose sprocket (5) into the guide bar. Open
up the bar groove slightly to simplify this process.

Position the nose sprocket (5) so that the holes in its
bearing race line up with the holes in the bar nose (1).
N
Fit the countersunk rivets (2) and form their heads
with a hammer. Each rivet head must completely fill
the hole recess (arrows).
N
Lubricate the bearing in the nose sprocket (5) with
STIHL Multispray.
