General information
The
engine is turned off and stopped
by releasing a lever on the lawnmower. The cable acts on a lever
which simultaneously activates a microswitch that sends the coil to earth as well as a brake which acts on
the flywheel.
The brake must be able to stop the engine within 3 seconds after it is turned off.
To solve problems in the system for turning off and stopping the engine, see the relevant chapter
.
To get access to the system for turning off and stopping the engine, remove the starter assembly.
