7 - Perform a spark test as indicated in

If the spark jumps:
the coil functions properly and
in the event of malfunction, verify that the cut-off
cable
(

) is not earthed.
- if the spark does not jump:
the coil is faulty and
must be replaced
8 - Refit the starter assembly
11.3. Replacing the coil
1 - Remove the starter assembly

2 - Disconnect the faston of the earth cable (

).
3 - Undo the screw (

) and the stud (

) and remove
the coil (

).
4 - Mount the new coil and regulate the air gap
according to the procedure indicated in points 4
and 5 in section
5 - Connect the faston of the earth cable (

).
6 - Refit the starter assembly

16-20 Nm
