5.4 Sensor installation

Connect all necessary sensors to the appliance before
commissioning.
Note
An outside temperature sensor is not required. The
WPM heat pump manager transmits the outside tem-
perature to the WPE heat pump extension.
5.4.1 TAF PT immersion/contact sensors

subject to requirements, install the sensor as a contact or
immersion sensor.

Clean the pipe.
Note
The recesses on the retaining clip differ in size.

Press the smaller recess of the retaining clip into one of
the sensor notches.
f

Press the larger recess of the retaining clip onto the
sensor.

Apply heat conducting paste to the sensor.
f

secure the sensor with the retaining clip and the cable tie.
Installation as an immersion sensor

The immersion sensor is required for the sensor well in the
buffer cylinder.

Press the spring downwards. The spring is used for fixing
the sensor in the sensor well.

Apply heat conducting paste to the sensor.

Push the sensor into the sensor well.

Hook the front fascia into the top of the appliance.

Press in the bottom of the front fascia.

for the heat pump manager.
only qualified contractors may make adjustments to the WPE,
commission the appliance and instruct the system user in its
use.
